No Cheat Codes — Here's the Real Edge Instead (Tips)

Halloween: The Game is an online asymmetrical multiplayer game, so there are no cheat codes, console commands or unlock sequences — and third-party cheats get you banned by anti-cheat. Everything that actually works is knowledge: the Myers focus loop, NPC decoys, and map callouts below. Ignore any 'unlock all' glitch circulating on TikTok — at best it gets patched, at worst it corrupts your save or account.

Myers: Lurk to Build Focus, Then Strike (Tips)

Don't chase survivors immediately. Stay in Lurk/Stalk mode near prey to build your Focus meter — it pays out a short movement-speed burst when it pops, which closes the gap far better than an early sprint. Chain lurk windows between buildings rather than burning it on a cross-map sprint.

Myers: Ambush at Windows & Doorways (Tips)

Execution finishers near window and door frames hit hardest — the scare applies a detection penalty to survivors nearby, letting you snowball a single catch into a second. Patrol the choke-point interiors of Haddonfield houses instead of open streets.

Survivors: Recruit NPCs as Living Decoys (Tips)

Haddonfield townsfolk you rescue act as distractions that pull Michael's attention. Save them early and keep them between you and the objective — a townsperson walking the street is one less detection sweep pointed at your objective run.

Survivors: Do Objectives in Pairs, Watch Terminal Camps (Tips)

Objectives (phone line to the authorities, power, escape prep) go twice as fast with a partner, and Myers camps high-value terminals late in the match. One player works the objective while the other watches approach lanes; split only for the final escape.

Use Shadows — Crouch in High-Contrast Cover (Tips)

Survivor detection is meters-based: crouching inside deep shadow patches (hedges, dark rooms, porch cover) keeps Michael's detection meter from filling. Moving between shadows in short bursts is safer than one long sprint down a lit street, and keeping quiet matters — his short-range senses pick up audio cues.

Melee Weapons Are for Stuns, Not Kills (Tips)

Household weapons (poker, crowbar, kitchen knives) won't down Michael — their job is a quick stun when he grabs a teammate or starts an execution on you. Swing, break the grab, then sprint for shadow. Wasting swings outside a rescue just broadcasts your position.

Launch-Week Glitches: Stuck Bolt Cutters & Frozen NPCs (Glitch)

Two known launch bugs (build 1.0, Sep 2026): bolt cutters and other mission tools can clip into geometry and become unpickable — if a required item vanishes, have a teammate check the interaction point or abandon and requeue. NPCs also sometimes freeze mid-escape instead of running; nudge them by moving through their spot or just route around them. Expect patches before Halloween.

Unlockables: Skins & Executions via Challenges (Unlock All)

Character skins, outfits for survivors, and alternate Michael execution animations unlock by completing in-game challenges and seasonal milestones (check the challenge tab each match) — progression is account-wide with cross-progression across PS5, Xbox and PC. No code unlocks these; grind challenges while the Halloween-season events are live for limited skins.
