No Traditional Cheat Codes — Here's What Works Instead (Tips)

Marvel's Wolverine has no built-in cheat codes, button sequences, or console commands (PS5 exclusive, no PC version). Difficulty and accessibility options in Settings are the only official helpers. What does work: the checkpoint-restart XP farm below and a few launch-week glitches.

Unlimited XP Farm — Restart Checkpoint Exploit (Exploit)

Find a combat encounter packed with enemies, kill everyone but ONE, then open the Pause Menu and choose Restart Checkpoint. The encounter fully resets but you KEEP all XP earned. Rinse and repeat to grind levels and Technique Points as fast as you want. Only works on enemies — XP Caches never respawn.

Best XP Farm Spot — Madripoor 'Knock Knock' Courtyard (Exploit)

At the very start of the Knock Knock chapter in Madripoor (the fight toward Trask Tower), the first courtyard is jam-packed with enemies — roughly 190 XP per run. Clear all but one, Restart Checkpoint, repeat. One of the fastest farms in the game.

Out-of-Bounds Glitch — Escape the 'One That Got Away' Level (Glitch)

During the 'One That Got Away' mission, time your jumps just right on the climbable building to get over the geometry. You'll free-roam a larger unfinished part of the map: woods, extra town areas, and areas not fully rendered (you can fall through the ground). Credited to YouTuber 'Turned'; a similar break works in the Tokyo section.

Rage = Instant Kills — Max the meter before hard fights (Tips)

Rage builds in three stages based on how well you perform in combat. At stage three, Wolverine's finishers become instant kills. Before a tough encounter, build rage on weaker enemies first, then spend it on the heavies. Pairs well with the checkpoint farm for skilling up fast.

Zero-Effort XP Farm — 'Way Down Low' Jean Grey Cutscene (Exploit)

Much later, in the 'Way Down Low' chapter, a cutscene where Jean Grey annihilates an enemy cluster grants ~135-150 XP. Restart Checkpoint from the pause menu to replay it — no fighting required. Slower per run than Knock Knock but completely hands-off.
