Have this second character enter stealth, approach the vendor, and pickpocket them. Your primary target for pickpocketing should be the gold you just gave them. 5. If the pickpocket attempt is successful, you will recover your gold, effectively getting all the purchased items for free. If you fail, the vendor may become hostile, so it's recommended to save before attempting this exploit.
